Wiped or destroyed
Drives that will be reused are wiped with software that overwrites the entire drive, not just the files you can see. Drives that won't be reused, or that you want gone for good, are physically destroyed.

Hard Drive & Data Destruction questions
Doesn't a factory reset erase everything?
Not always. Deleted files and reset devices can often still be recovered from the drive. That's why we overwrite or destroy drives.
Can I keep my drive instead?
Yes. We'll pull it out and hand it back to you at pickup.
Do you take drives I've already removed?
Yes. Loose drives are welcome.
